Standing Tall

That's right, Mila is standing on her own!  Well, for about 10-20 seconds at a time, but that counts, right?  She is just one step closer to walking, a milestone that I want to put off as long as possible!  She is fast enough on her knees, once she's is running around the house it will be impossible to keep up with her!  Mila also had yet another tooth pop thru over the weekend!  That now makes SEVEN with number eight on the way!

Can you say...teething!

I was bummed this one was blurry...

I think she is ready for Spring to get outside and play!

Around the house

We haven't been up to much lately.  The cold and snow has kept us inside for many (many, many) days!  I love my winter and snow but even I am ready for Spring!  Mila is looking forward to walks and playing in the grass!  (or at least I hope she is!!)  One thing we have started is a playdate.  A group of us girls have been getting together once a week and it has been WONDERFUL to have a reason to leave the house every week for something other than groceries or Target.  Mila is having a great time with the other babies too!  One of these days I will have to remember my camera to catch them in action!

This week Mila has been running a low-grade temperature between 99 and 100.  I wasn't too concerned about it because she has been REALLY happy and giggly, almost so much that Jeremy and I were really wondering where this baby was the first 10 months!  Last night I was holding her upside down and noticed two more top teeth have popped through!  I am now officially one of "those" moms that I complained about a few months ago!  I didn't even know she was getting more teeth!!!  WOW!  That was WAY too easy...I can only hope molars will be the same but I'm not holding my breathe!  She is also FINALLY sleeping through the night!  I almost hesitate to talk about it because I don't want to jinx anything but she's been doing so for about 5 days now.  It's been fantastic!

Here are a few shots around the house over the past few weeks....

She loves to share her food with us now

She ate all her egg yolks, Cheerios, and prunes!

Climbed into her soft toy bin and now she's stuck!
(this is the only pic where she isn't freaking out)

At least she is learning early that her Mommy is a clean freak....
and she's helping, well, sorta!

Baby Shower time!

Baby Steps

Mila has started to take an interest in her bunny walker lately! She used to crawl and push it around because she liked the sounds the bunny clackers made but now she is pulling herself up and walking! We obviously have a loooong way to go before she is walking on her own, but it's a start!! (you won't notice the bouncing stuffed bunnies on the walker in the video...she likes to pull them off to chew on them!)

Just for you sis!

So this is the easiest way to share pics of projects with my sister. Here's is my latest project that I just finished up...growth charts for a very dear friend's twins who just turned a year old. Hopefully she doesn't see this before they arrive at her house in NC!
