THREE Months

Three months has almost come and gone before I even got to post a picture! Miles continues to be such a happy baby, although he does have to be very well rested and fed before he will tolerate playing on the floor for periods of time. He has really discovered his hands and is constantly chewing on them...I believe we have started teething already. He also enjoys grabbing the toys that hang from the activity mat. We've also accomplished a big milestone but we'll save that for his four-month update! Next month I will also have stats; he feels like he's grown a LOT!

Miles TWO Months

Miles is already 2 months old! I know I always say it, but WOW time is flying by way too fast! Miles is growing by leaps and bounds and is really starting to interact more and more every day. He loves batting at the toys on his bouncy seat and is ALWAYS full of smiles! This is quite a change for us, because if you know Mila, you know that as a baby she was so serious and impossible to make smile. He is also starting to do the precious throat giggles and is cooing when you talk to him. Mommy is also happy to say that his little man is sleeping from 8pm until 4am almost every night!!

Last Friday was his Dr visit and his first round of shots. He did really well but was a little fussy that afternoon and evening. His stats are below:

Head - 16 inches (75%)
Weight - 11 pounds 13 ounces (50%)
Height - 22 inches (25%)

Miles - ONE Month

Miles turned one month old this past week! He's growing so fast and gaining weight even faster! His newborn clothes are starting to get too small and he's almost ready to move out of the newborn diapers! Overall, he's a very tolerant baby and pretty content to sit in his swing or bouncy seat while I get things done and tend to Mila's needs. Mila is totally in love with her brother and when he cries she'll tell me to "go get him, pick him up!" or she will talk to him and reassure him that it's okay. It melts my heart to see their special bond developing already!

Height - 20.5 inches
Weight - 9 pounds 6 ounces

December Happenings

December has come and gone and we are ready to welcome the new year! What a wonderful month it has been. We welcomed Miles into our family and Jeremy has been off work for the majority of the month! It has been great having him home while the family adjusts and it will be difficult to see him off to work next week, knowing it will be a while before he's off for an extended period of time again. However we are excited for February 1st when Jeremy starts his new job in Mossville!!! No more driving to Decatur every day! YAHOOO!
